A staple on the New York social scene, Tinsley Mortimer was born on August 11, 1976. The daughter of a real estate investor and an interior designer, the Virginia-bred socialite attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before transferring to Columbia University in NYC.
At the age of 18, Mortimer married her boarding school sweetheart, investment banker Robert “Topper” Mortimer; their union was later annulled at her parents’ request. The couple remarried in 2002 before ending it for good seven years later.
Cameras followed Mortimer’s life post-split on the CW reality show High Society in 2010. The program featured her budding romances with Prince Casimir and Rock of Ages star Constantine Maroulis.
In addition to her reality show, Mortimer previously worked as an event planner and designed a Japanese handbag and clothing line for Samantha Thavasa.
